Here we go again. Recent news reports that the PA Turnpike Commission has resubmitted a application to toll I-80.
When we vote for our government officials and representatives we do it hopefully by using our common sense and our good judgement. In return they promise us everything that might make us vote for them.
One thing none of them have promised is to listen, because as far as I know the truckers, trucking companies, counties, boros, manufacturing, and residents have expressed that we do not want I-80 tolled. Who listens, apparently no one in PA government. Things are bad enough right now, I don’t think we should be doing anything to make it worse.
So here we go again and we’ll just have to hope for a good outcome.
