KARTHAUS – The Sinnemahoning Sportsmen’s Association and the Keystone Reptile Association will hold the annual Snake Hunt at Sinnemahoning in Cameron County on June 14 and 15.
Reptile hunters can register at the club on June 13. All hunters must have a certificate from the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission to hunt snakes.
There will be games for kids as well as informational lectures about snakes on both days.
Other activities will include a dance on the Saturday night of the event and food and refreshments all weekend. There is also a fundraiser with 12 cash prizes to be awarded June 15. Tickets for the cash drawing are available at $12 a ticket. Snake Hunt shirts and hats are also available, as are campsites.
