SHEFFIELD – Curwensville High School Athletic Director, Allen Leigey, reported that the Curwensviile at Sheffield softball game scheduled for Saturday was rained out. The Lady Tide will travel to Sheffield on Wednesday for a 4:30 pm make-up contest.
The Lady Tide next play on Tuesday when they go to RedBank Valley for a 4:15 pm game. In 2007, Curwensville kicked off it’s state championship season in downing Redbank, 10-0.
Curwensville is 12-1 for the 2008 campaign and have won eleven straight since losing to backyard rival Clearfield, 5-1, on April 9th.
