Lake Buena Vista — Clearfield high school sophomore Adrianne Zimmerman won a world title at the Amatuer Athletic Union\’s world championships held at Disney\’s Wide World of Sports on Saturday October 13.
Competing in the 123 pound 14-15 year old division, Zimmerman completed lifts of 171 pounds in the squat, 104 in the bench press, and 253 in the deadlift.
Around 300 competitors from several countries were scheduled to compete.
