WOODLAND – Clearfield-based state police report Gypsy activity along Shiloh Road.
According to police people will approach residents and tell them that they have leftover paving material and are willing to pave the resident’s driveway at a reduced rate. After completing usually inferior work they then double or triple the estimate.
Troopers would like to remind the public that if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Anyone having contact with these people or instances is asked to contact their local police department.
