DuBois Extreme 18 & Under Team Wins 2 Games In NSA Softball World Series

Birmingham, AL– The DuBois Xtreme softball team continued their winning streak in the NSA Softball World Series held in Birmingham, Alabama.

The DuBois Xtreme team, coached by George Heigel and assisted by Tony Wallock, Greg Sayers and Ron Johnson, beat the Central Florida Lady Hawks on Wednesday 2- 1, and then taking another win against the Indianapolis Dazels 8-7 in extra innings Thursday morning.

In the second game, Leah Wallok pitched seven innings.  Abbie Heigel came in one inning as relief pitcher.  Leah Wallock went threee for three. 

Kendra Celinski had the last out with a throw from right field to home plate.

Megan Thomas had an RBI triple to win the game.
