PHILIPSBURG – Decatur Township Police are hoping that some children are not able to make a clean getaway after they closed the doors to an area car Wash Wednesday.
Police were called to Crystal Clear Auto Spa on North Front Street Wednesday afternoon regarding reported disorderly conduct. Witnesses reported that at least three children were at the car wash on bicycles and managed to close the doors on the automatic car wash bays. Customers were unable to use the bays and complained to the owners.
A review of the video from the car wash confirmed that the children were tampering with the equipment, however there was no physical damage to the building or equipment.
