Shippensburg– The PIAA Class A Softball championship trophy is coming to Curwensville. The Lady Tide snapped a 2-2 tie with 5 runs in the 4th inning and went on to defeat Upper Dauphin 7-3 in the gold medal game Friday afternoon at Robb Field on the Shippensburg University campus.
Dana Johnson doubled then singled and drove in 3 runs while sophomore Holly Lansberry pitched a 6 hitter. Coach Allen Leigey\’s team finished the season 25-2.
