Healing After Loss Support Group Meeting at DRMC

DUBOIS – DuBois Regional Medical Center Home Health/Hospice offers a support group called Healing After Loss, which offers support, education, and validation for adults dealing with the loss of a loved one.

The group is open to the public at no cost. Michaelene Hawley, Hospice volunteer/bereavement coordinator, is facilitator of the group. The group does not require registration.

The group meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Fugate Room at DRMC West on Hospital Avenue. The June meeting will be held on June 5.

Healing After Loss offers support and friendship. It provides information on the grieving process in a warm and caring atmosphere. No one is forced to talk. It is a safe place to share experiences and feelings.

A grief program for children, “HUGS for Kids,” is also offered by DRMC Home Health/Hospice.

For more information or questions on “Healing After Loss” or “HUGS for Kids,” call DRMC Home Health/Hospice at 375-3300.
