HYDE – Wednesday rains forced postponement of home finales for the Clearfield Area High School baseball and softball teams.
Athletic director Jon Mikesell hopes to reschedule both events, the baseball game with St. Marys and the softball game with Johnsonburg.
Coach Sid Lansberry\’s Bisons (7-10) will go on the road to play Central Penn League foes Central Mountain Thursday and State College Friday.
Coach Bob Dixon\’s Lady Bisons (9-9) will be idle until the District 9 Class AAA Playoffs if a makeup date for the Johnsonburg game cannot be arranged.
Clearfield\’s seventh and eighth grade softball games with West Branch also were postponed.

CURWENSVILLE – The Curwensville Area High School softball team\’s trip to Sheffield was called off because of rain Wednesday.
Athletic director Allen Leigey, also the Lady Tide (16-2) head coach, announced the game was moved to Thursday afternoon at 4:30.
Curwensville will host Brockway Friday in its final regular season game.
