Auburn Hills, MI — Three wrestlers from area high schools will participate in the NCAA Wrestling National Championships starting Thursday March 15.
Leading the way will be All-American James Yonushonis of Philipsburg, now competing for Penn State. The #4 seed at 174, Yonushonis begins his final quest for a national title against Appalachian State\’s Neal Martin.
At 184 pounds Jared Ricotta from West Branch, now representing Duquesne, will open against Antonio Miranda of the Naval Academy.
And finally, freshman Matt Kyler of Clearfield will represent Army at 141 pounds. Kyler has a bye in the first round.
