HYDE, Pa. — Clearfield Area High School\’s home girls basketball game with Curwensville that was postponed Feb. 13 will be played tonight at 7:30 in the Arthur J. Weiss Jr. Gymnasium, athletic director Jon Mikesell announced Tuesday.
The backyard rivals have split two games this season, Curwensville (21-5) winning a 54-51 thriller at home on Dec. 20 and Clearfield (14-10) prevailing 58-46 in the Penns Manor Holiday Tournament consolation game just 10 days later.
The Lady Bisons are 14-10 after losing their District 9 Class AAA semifinal game 36-27 at Bradford last night, while the Lady Tide is 21-5 going into the tuneup for Friday\’s District 9 Class AA championship game against Karns City at Clarion University.
Tonight\’s junior varsity game will start at six o\’clock.
