The GantDaily athlete of the week for Jan. 15 through Jan. 21 is Mo Valley senior wrestler Ryan Jacoby.
Jacoby notched the 100th and 101st wins of his career this past week. Ryan had a 16-0 technical fall against Southern Huntingdon to get the 100th. The 101st came via a fall versus Juniata Valley.
Honorable mention goes to former Clearfield wrestler Matt Kyler. Wrestling at 141 pounds for Army, Kyler went 4-0 at Buffalo University to win the New York state collegiate championship.
