CLARION – The Clarion Small Business Development Center is offering a free workshop designed to give you a head start with your business.
The workshop will be held at Lock Haven University, Clearfield Campus, 201 University Drive on Monday. The class begins at 8 a.m. with instructor Corry Riley and ends at 11 a.m.
Attendees will learn about;
• Lifestyle requirements that are involved in owning a business
• Differences between business organizations and structures
• How to develop a business plan
• Guidelines on how to finance your business
• How to market your product or service
• Applications and licenses needed to start you business
• How to conduct research on your industry
• Market and competition
• Regulations on governing a business
• Environmental regulation compliance
• Other resources you can use to help you plan and succeed.
