ALLPORT – Dottie Shoemaker of Karthaus, a volunteer from the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, recently visited Cen-Clear Child Services’ West Branch Family Center to deliver a special gift to help keep children warm this winter.
Along with other RSVP volunteers, she made homemade hats and mittens for each Head Start child in the West Branch Center and three Head Start classes in DuBois. Shoemaker is shown with Stephanie Dale’s Head Start class.
