DUBOIS – A DuBois man refused to go into a bar with a Pittsburgh woman on Saturday, and that decision landed him in the hospital with minor injuries.
DuBois City Police were called to DuBois Regional Medical Center-West’s emergency room at about 2:04 a.m. for a man with a knife wound.
Officers learned that a 33-year-old Pittsburgh woman assaulted a 35-year-old DuBois man while in the 300 block of West Spruce Alley near Franklin Street. The woman reportedly became upset with the an when he wouldn’t go into a bar with her.
Police said she began to assault the man while they were in his car, stabbing him in the forearm.
The man refused to press charges.
