PUNXSUTAWNEY —Led by Max Fairman\’s 77, Punxsutawney defeated Clearfield 333-374 in an Allegheny Mountain League South Division schoolboy golf match Thursday at the Punxsutawney Country Club.
Mark Krchnak\’s 85 was the best score for the Bisons, who are 1-4 in the league and 2-5 overall.
Clearfield\’s next match is Thursday against DuBois Central Catholic at the DuBois Country Club.
Punxsy also won the junior varsity match 133-171. John Williams carded a 53 for Clearfield.
