Shooting Ordinance Passed in Brady Township

LUTHERSBURG – Basic gun safety rules state that a person should identify their target and think before they shoot.

A new ordinance was put into place in Brady Township Tuesday night that will limit some places for shooting.

Brady Township Secretary Sherry DeBoer said Wednesday that the township approved an ordinance allowing for the regulation of private, public or commercial pistol and rifle ranges would be regulated.

The ordinance does not allow people to shoot across township roadways.

The ordinance was approved by unaniamous vote Tuesday night.
