CLEARFIELD – Patrick Yingling and Cathy Greenland emerged victorious after the weekend club championship golf tournament at the Clearfield-Curwensville Country Club.
Greenland defeated Garnet Kocher in the ladies\’ championship to win her third title. Greenland had been runner-up in 2004 and 2005.
In the mens\’ championship, defending champ Patrick Yingling, a senior at Bucknell University and a member of the Bison golf team, used his match play experience and a hot putter to defeat three-time champ Josh Norris.
In other matches, the first flight champion was Ken Brannif, second flight champion was Mike Lezzer, third flight champion was Bill Falger, fourth flight chamption was Dick Lenhart and fifth flight champion was Tim Greenland.
Recent holes-in-one were made by Dave Hedges and Guy Graham. Hedges aced the 16th hole, the second in his career. Graham also made a hole-in-one on the 16th, his fourth in his career.
