Drifton – After winning two games to begin the state tournament, Buster\’s ran into a very good hitting Bonnell\’s team and got out-slugged 9-6. Bonnell\’s hit three homeruns in building a 9-1 lead. Buster\’s fought back, but fell short by three runs. Rob Boozel was hit hard in the loss.
Buster\’s then had to play their first loser\’s bracket game against Eagle AA after 11:00 PM Saturday night. A loss sends them home, while a win places them in the loser\’s bracket quarter-finals at 9:30 Sunday morning.
