Fiddlers hit a high note at Curwensville Days

CURWENSVILLE – Curwensville Days was filled with the unmistakable sound of fiddle music Thursday night.

The winner in the senior division was Dave Knepp. Barbie Milliron took home top honors in the adult category, and T.J. Harbridge and Julia Voris won in the teen and junior competitions, respectively.

The celebration continued Friday night with The Simpletons.  On Saturday, the 10K and 5K races begin at 9 a.m. as does the antique car show. The Curwensville Rotary’s chicken barbeque starts at 10 a.m. at the corner of State and Filbert streets. The firemen’s parade begins at 6:30 p.m., and Reckless Endangerment closes out the night with a show starting at 8 p.m.
