CLEARFIELD – Fishing season is in full swing, and anglers who find themselves casting a line into the West Branch of the Susquehanna River have a few more fish that just could bite their bait.
Wes Weymers, president of CSB Bank and the Clearfield County Recreation and Tourism Authority, and Pat Domico, marketing executive for the Clearfield Chamber of Commerce, waded into the river Thursday to stock 500 big lunkers.
The fish stocking was made possible by Kurtz Lawn Furniture, owned by Ron Lippert.
