When her daughter Casey died from a drug overdose, Schwartzmier honored her daughter's wishes to write an obituary speaking plainly and honestly about Casey's struggle with drugs. The obituary went viral and Schwartzmeir has spoken to countless addicts from around the world about getting help and continuing to fight to stay sober.
