HARRISBURG – State Sen. Wayne Langerholc Jr. (R-35) and state Rep. Mike Armanini (R-Clearfield/Elk) are announcing more than $3.5 million in Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grants that have been awarded to four Clearfield County recipients.
“We’re pleased to see these grant requests approved and state dollars being invested in rural Pennsylvania,” Armanini said.
“RACP grants are competitive grants, and we applaud the four recipients on receiving funding that will allow them to expand on the services they currently provide.”
RACP is a Commonwealth grant program administered by the Office of the Budget for the design, acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational and historical improvement projects.
The four grant recipients are:
- Christ the King Health and Wellness Center in DuBois – $1 million to supplement the current independent living cottages and apartments.
- DuBois Central Catholic Multi-Purpose Center – $1 million for a multi-purpose complex that can be used for classrooms and after-school activities.
- Industrial Drive Sanitary Sewer Line Extension – $737,500 for a planned industrial park along the newly constructed Industrial Drive in Sandy Township.
- Salvation Army Dubois – $600,000 for a kitchen renovation and expansion.
“The announcement reflects our commitment to investing in Clearfield County,” said Langerholc. “These grants will empower local organizations to enhance their services, ensuring that residents have access to the resources they need to thrive.”
