HARRISBURG – State Rep. Dallas Kephart (R-Cambria/Clearfield) on Thursday announced that the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) presented him with a Guardian of Small Business Award.

Of the 253 legislators in Harrisburg, Kephart was one of 10 to be recognized by NFIB as a champion of small business.

“I am truly honored to be recognized by NFIB as a small business champion,” shared Kephart. “Small businesses are vital to our local communities and I am proud to support them.”

“Rep. Kephart went above and beyond in this session in advocating for small businesses,” said NFIB State Director Greg Moreland.

“As a freshman member of the General Assembly, he hit the ground running and asked the tough questions. While others caved to special interests, Rep. Kephart stood with the hard-working small businesses of his district and we look forward to his continued activism for Main Street mom-and-pop shops.”

The NFIB has been the voice of small businesses across the nation for almost 80 years.

The NFIB advocates for small and independent business owners in Congress and all 50 state legislatures as a nonprofit, non-partisan and member-driven organization.
