Reps from FreedomFest ’24 Present Funds to Clearfield VFW

CLEARFIELD – Representatives from FreedomFest ’24 recently presented a check for $1,000 to the Clearfield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1785.

Donations were collected during the event and all proceeds were given to the VFW. Sponsors of the show were the Corner Stage Arts & Education Center, PoliticallyIncorrectRedneck.com and Starr Hill Vineyard & Winery.

The event took place all day Sept. 14 at Starr Hill Winery in Curwensville, with performances by Brandon Guiffre, Eric Koval, Nis-n-Nat, Smokin’ Joe Meholic, Billy Davis and Jerry Schickling.

Receiving the check on behalf of the VFW is Greg Ireland. Presenting is Kenn and Ken Starr from Starr Hill Winery and Steve Albert from the Corner Stage.

Absent from the photo is Jerry Schickling, who organized the event and provided the sound system for all performers.

The organizers and sponsors of FreedomFest ’24 would like to thank all the performers who donated their time and talents to honor veterans, and all the attendees and folks who donated throughout the day.

Organizers hope to make the event bigger and better for FreedomFest ’25.
