Workforce Solutions for North Central PA, in collaboration with its Childcare Advisory Committee members and PA CareerLink®, is excited to announce two upcoming Childcare Information Sessions in the region.
These events will take place on:
- Oct. 22, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the McKean County PA CareerLink®, located at 40 Davis St., Bradford, PA.
- Oct. 24, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Clearfield County at DuBois PA CareerLink®, located at 602 W. Dubois Ave., DuBois, PA.
These events are designed to connect job seekers with employment and training opportunities in the childcare field.
Training providers, childcare centers and resource agencies will be on-hand to discuss the various career paths available in early childhood development and education.
Attendees will learn about the rewards of working with young children and the critical role they can play in a child’s development, particularly during the first five years of life—an essential period for learning and growth.
“We are excited to bring together job seekers and industry professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children,” said Linda Franco, workforce system manager for Workforce Solutions for North Central PA, the agency facilitating the events.
“This is a unique opportunity for individuals to explore careers in childcare and to hear firsthand about the impact they can make.”
