GREEN TOWNSHIP, Pa.?– Troopers are investigating a bomb threat reported yesterday afternoon at Purchase Line School District in Indiana County.
On October 3, 2024 at approximately 2:26 p.m., members of the Troop A, Indiana Patrol and Criminal Investigation Units were dispatched to Purchase Line School District after a handwritten note indicating a bomb threat was found in a girls’ bathroom at Purchase Line Elementary School in Green Township.
Out of an abundance of caution, the building was subsequently evacuated and the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Emergency and Special Operations Explosives Detection Canine Unit responded and conducted a sweep of the building.
No explosive devices were found and the investigation is ongoing.
