CLEARFIELD – Fall is a very busy season with back-to-school and extracurricular activities in full swing.
And, Clearfield YMCA is thrilled to offer a place for families and individuals to reconnect with their community, each other and even themselves.
From health and wellness to youth sports and out-of-school time to family events, the YMCA invites you to embrace the change of the season and discover all of the opportunities to connect, learn and thrive.
During the entire month of October, the Clearfield YMCA is waiving new membership fees, offering free classes to try, hosting a basket raffle and letting friends of members in for free on Fridays*.
The free class schedule is as follows:
- Monday, Oct. 7: Aquacize from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m.
- Tuesday, Oct. 8: Golden Sneakers from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- Tuesday, Oct. 8: Les Mills BodyStep from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 9: Tai Chi from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Thursday, Oct. 10: High Intensity Aquacize from 8 a.m. – 9 a.m.
- Monday, Oct. 14: Silver Sneakers from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- Tuesday, Oct. 15: Stretch class from 6:35 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.
- Thursday, Oct. 17: Les Mills BodyPump from 5:45 a.m. – 6:45 a.m.
- Friday, Oct. 18: WAR from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 19: BodyPump Launch from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 19: Qigong for Arthritis Relief from 12:15 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.
Also, come visit the Clearfield YMCA on Saturday, Oct. 19 and bring your swimsuit to pick a pumpkin from the Aquatic Pumpkin Patch, or dress up in your best costume and come trick-or-treat in the gymnasium on Thursday, Oct. 24, from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
*Friends must be accompanied by a current Clearfield YMCA member.
