Doolittle Station Gives Back Through Caring Caboose

DUBOIS – Doolittle Station proudly unveils the refreshment of the Caring Caboose, a heart-warming initiative aimed at enhancing family time for children and parents alike.

Nestled within a lovingly-restored train car, the Caring Caboose provides children with a unique space to create cherished memories and bond together.

The brainchild of Dr. Jeffrey Rice, the Caring Caboose features a cozy environment where children can relax, play and enjoy quality time together.

From interactive walls to creative arts and crafts activities, every corner of the Caboose is designed to foster joy and togetherness.

“Dr. Rice and I really wanted to create a space where children can interact not only with each other, but with the space itself, and this was all made possible by the hard work of Abraxas Youth and Family Services”, said Jonathan Cannella, one of the co-owners of Doolittle Station.

About Caring Caboose:

Here, children can draw their dreams on chalkboards, dive into interactive boxes or build imaginary worlds with fellow young adventurers.

This hands-on approach not only ignites their imaginations, but also nurtures critical thinking skills and self-expression, ensuring every visit to the Caboose is filled with laughter, learning and limitless creativity.

Doolittle Station invites the community to celebrate the launch of the Caring Caboose and experience its welcoming atmosphere first-hand.

Families are encouraged to visit and discover the joy of spending quality time together in this unique and lovingly crafted space.

The Caboose is slated to open in the coming weeks and Doolittle Station is excited to welcome friends and family from all areas.
