BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — A Brookville woman is facing a charge of Harassment by Communications after allegedly contacting another woman repeatedly through Facebook Messenger.

According to the Brookville Borough Police Department, a known victim reported she was the subject of harassing Facebook messages in the early morning hours of July 27. She states she told the suspect to stop multiple times.

During an interview with Brookville Police, the suspect admitted to sending the messages during the early morning hours, according to the department.

Brookville Police said they are filing one count of Harassment by Communications against the suspect, a third-degree misdemeanor charge.
