PHILIPSBURG, Pa. — Clearfield-based State Police Criminal Investigation Unit responded to Moshannon Valley Processing Center for an assault with reported victims with stab wounds.
According to an August 20 news release, the initial investigation revealed a large fight broke out in the yard of the facility involving numerous individuals around 2:21 p.m. on Monday, August 19.
Police say it was confirmed several individuals suffered injuries during the fight, and three of the individuals sustained stab wounds from a weapon/shank.
They were transported to Penn Highlands DuBois for treatment.
No facility staff were injured during the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
