Multiple EMS Crews Called to Moshannon Valley ICE Processing Center

DECATUR TOWNSHIP – Details are currently limited surrounding a reported incident Monday at the Moshannon Valley ICE Processing Center in Decatur Township.

However, according to Hope Fire Company, the incident prompted response from over a half-dozen EMS units from in and around the Philipsburg area, as well as one medical helicopter.

“… EMS is on-scene determining the scope and severity of injuries,” stated fire officials in a social media post. No further information is available at this time.

The Moshannon Valley Processing Center is a privately-owned and operated immigration processing center by the GEO Group.

The center’s primary contractual responsibility is to provide support services to the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement on behalf of Clearfield County.
