Clearfield County Unveils New Web Site

CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Commissioners on Tuesday unveiled the county’s brand-new Web site, https://clearfieldcountypa.gov/.

“It went live last week with a ‘soft opening,’ and now we’re ready for a complete unveiling, said Commissioner Chairman Dave Glass.

He specifically noted the county’s domain change to .gov, adding it’s just the “first step of a long process” to completely convert the county over to .gov.

A .gov domain increases security, trust and accountability of a government Web site, while ensuring the public can easily identify official government information.

Visually the site has a much more professional appearance and offers quick, user-friendly navigation, said Glass.

“It’s roll out—for a complete redesign—has gone pretty well.”

The redesign was done by CivicPlus, which according to company information, is a “trusted technology company dedicated to empowering government staff and powering exceptional digital experiences for residents.

“With a comprehensive suite of solutions that combine to form the modern Civic Experience Platform, we strive to create one-stop, frictionless interactions that delight residents and help staff collaborate and work efficiently.

“As a result, government administrations that choose CivicPlus realize greater trust and satisfaction among their community members.”

County IT Director Sabrina Schwartz—who worked closely with CivicPlus on the web project—said so far, she’s received positive feedback from both county employees and residents.

Glass did remind that with anything brand-new, there could still be some glitches and these should be reported to the county.
