Trinity UMC Recognizes Graduate

CLEARFIELD – On Sunday, July 14, high school graduate Evan Forcey was recognized at Trinity United Methodist Church, and awarded Trinity’s scholarship for being an active member of the church.

Over the years, Evan has volunteered as usher, greeter and liturgist, provided special music, and helped serve communion. He has also volunteered for the Wednesday Lunch Program as well as Trinity’s Children Ministries.

Leadership Team Chair, Jeanie Jacobs, presented Evan with the scholarship and a copy of “The Purpose Driven Life” signed by the Rev. Jonathan Morningstar and members of the Leadership Team.

Evan will attend Susquehanna University in the fall where he will major in Music Education, with studies in Violin and Oboe.

He plans to get his Master’s Degree in Music Composition.

Evan is the son of Ross and Danielle Forcey, the grandson of Larry and LaRay Hoover and Terry and Annette Forcey, and the great-grandson of George Waring.
