WESTFIELD, IN — McKenzie Astorino from Curwensville competed with Team Pennsylvania in the 14U Women’s Freestyle and Greco-Roman Nationals Duals in Westfield, Indiana on June 21 and 22.
Pennsylvania won the National Title in both Freestyle and Greco-Roman styles.
In the finals of Freestyle, Pennsylvania defeated Illinois 58-18 and in Greco-Roman, they beat Washington 47-23.
McKenzie was a USA All-Tournament Team selection as one of only 28 athletes in the country who went undefeated in the freestyle event by winning all nine of her matches.
McKenzie’s overall record for the weekend was 14-1.
