LOCK HAVEN – Commonwealth University-Lock Haven will host a summer preview day on Friday, July 12.
Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Admissions Office lobby on the first floor of the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center (DACC).
Students will learn about the admission process and preview financial aid options and scholarships. Attendees will begin their visit in the DACC ballroom for a welcome at 9 a.m., followed by a “Lock Haven 101” presentation. At 10 a.m., academic overviews will be held at various locations on campus, depending on the students’ major or interests.
For students who bring their high school transcripts with them, instant acceptance decisions will be made beginning at 11 a.m. in the Parsons Union Building computer lab and lobby with campus tours for those interested in an instant decision. A cookout will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on the Poorman Commons, where there also will be yard games, music and student leaders available to talk with.
Offices with staff available to answer questions will include residence life; diversity, equity and inclusion; financial aid; ACT 101; student success center; career development; disability services; global engagement; and TRIO student support services.
