BOGGS TWP. — An area man was rushed to the hospital following a one-vehicle crash on Route 322 in Boggs Township, Clearfield County last Wednesday afternoon.
Clearfield-based State Police released that the crash happened on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, around 12:34 p.m. involving 44-year-old Timothy J. Hawkins, of Clearfield, Pa.
State police say Hawkins was traveling south on Route 322 in a 2010 Ford Focus and attempted to negotiate a right-hand curse in the roadway and traveled straight in the turn crossing the northbound lane. The Ford hit an embankment with its undercarriage facing north of the eastern berm.
Moshannon Valley EMS transported Hawkins to Penn Highlands DuBois for suspected serious injuries.
He was using a seat belt.
