PUNXSUTAWNEY BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — A Punxsutawney woman was arrested for reportedly throwing a coffee table at her boyfriend during a domestic dispute.

According to court documents, the Punxsutawney Borough Police Department filed criminal charges against 30-year-old Amy Nicole Del Long, of Punxsutawney, in District Judge Jacqueline J. Mizerock’s office on Tuesday, April 23.

According to a criminal complaint, around 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 22, the Punxsutawney Borough Police Department received a report of a domestic incident at a residence in the 100 block of Orvetta Street in Punxsutawney Borough, Jefferson County.

The neighbors reported they heard yelling coming from the residence. Jefferson County Control reported it was a verbal argument, according to the complaint.

The boyfriend told police that Long threw a table at him, and he had two distinct red marks on his back, the complaint states.

Long admitted to throwing the table at the victim, according to the complaint.

In a further interview with police, the victim stated he and Long were having an argument, and she was making accusations against him. She then picked up a coffee table and threw it at him, striking him in the lower back, the complaint notes.

Long was arraigned at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 22, on the following charges in front of Judge Mizerock:

– Simple Assault
