Food Truck Mondays Return to Brookville in April

BROOKVILLE – Food enthusiasts, rejoice!

Starting Monday, April 8, locals and visitors alike can look forward to a weekly appetizing adventure in historic downtown Brookville.

With a rotating lineup of vendors, Food Truck Monday promises to tantalize your taste buds with an array of options ranging from sizzling street tacos, crave-worthy burgers, legendary lobster and a few other fan-favorites.

One food truck will be serving lunch and dinner crowds every Monday through October, conveniently located in front of Town Square on Main Street in Brookville.

“Brookville is limited on Monday dining options,” explains Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jamie Popson.

“To spin this into a positive, we created Food Truck Mondays, giving local restaurant staff a well-deserved day off and introducing unique tastes that are not normally found in our town.

“Dine in our Town Square, browse the local shops and enjoy the downtown historic vibe. Come hungry, leave happy, and make Monday your new favorite day of the week.”

Food Truck Monday will take place every Monday, from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., April – October on Main Street (Route 322) directly in front of Town Square next to the Jefferson County Courthouse.

It’s being made possible thanks to the support from Brookville Borough, Brookville Police Department and Historic Brookville Inc.

Food Truck Mondays will kick off on Monday, April 8 with Jackie’s Groovy Cheese Truck.

It’s a “fun twist” to grilled cheese sandwiches, says the owner. “I put crazy stuff between two slices of bread and people like it!”
