OSCEOLA MILLS – Front and Centre Productions Inc. is looking for an additional voice instructor to teach voice lessons for the ILLUMINATE Music program.
Front and Centre Productions Inc. is a non-profit visual and performing arts organization devoted to offering opportunities to the people of the Moshannon Valley communities.
Its mission is three-fold: to present high-quality arts experiences for the cultural entertainment, and inspiration of the Moshannon Valley communities, to foster and develop artistic talents and skills of all participants and to encourage public appreciation of the arts and to develop future audiences and supporters of the arts.
Front and Centre Productions Inc. is pleased to offer private vocal and instrumental music lessons to all ages through the ILLUMINATE Music program.
This program operates out of the Front and Centre Productions Creative Arts Center located in Osceola Mills.
ILLUMINATE Music has been offering voice and piano lessons for five years and continues to do with limited spaces available.
The ILLUMINATE Music program is growing, and we are looking for an additional voice instructor in order to accommodate the increasing number of students interesting in voice lessons.
The ideal candidate for this position is an individual with either a college or university degree in Music or a related Music field, and/or extensive experience in vocal performance. An understanding of music outside of voice is an added benefit to a vocal instructor.
This position requires the candidate to have updated clearances (Child Abuse, PA State Police clearance, and FBI Fingerprinting) as the position consists of working with children as well as adults.
The voice instructor position is an open-ended role and there is not a specific time contract associated with the ILLUMINATE Music program.
However, it is ideal that the applicant for this position is able to commit a set amount of time when interested in this position.
The approved compensation for a Voice Instructor is $16 per hour spent teaching voice lessons. There is not currently a set amount of hours currently set aside for ILLUMINATE Music lessons per week.
