CLEARFIELD – St. Francis School will be hosting Read Across American Family Night on Tuesday, March 5 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the school.
The event will includes an evening of fun activities to celebrate Read Across American Week. Families can participate in the following activities:
Bingo for Books – Have fun playing bingo and take home new-to-you books to add to your home library.
Book Bites – Enjoy story-themed snack tables, such as The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, If You Give a Dog a Donut, and How to Catch a Bookworm.
Basketball Book Buddies – Bring a blanket and your favorite story and join members of the St. Francis Ponies and Fillies basketball teams to read together in the gym.
Create Your Favorite Book Character – Join Mrs. Kitko in the art room to draw your favorite book characters, such as Pigeon, Piggy & Gerald, The Good Egg, and more.
Families that participate in all four activities can enter to win Scholastic gift certificates.
