CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Regional police on Feb. 10 reported that the apprehension of a wanted pair resulted in drug charges.
According to a department-issued news release, around 12 p.m., officers were patrolling Edgewood in Lawrence Township when 33-year-old Preston Wisor was seen leaving an apartment.
Police were aware Wisor was wanted by the Clearfield County Sheriff’s office. He was taken into custody and reportedly found in possession of drug paraphernalia.
They were also aware that Wisor was associated with 28-year-old Braelee Kephart for whom there were two active arrest warrants through Clearfield and Jefferson counties.
As police apprehended Wisor, they learned Kephart had fled out the back door of the apartment building. Police canvassed the area and located Kephart hiding inside a child’s playhouse.
She was taken into custody and allegedly found in possession of drug paraphernalia and fentanyl. Both Wisor and Kephart were housed in county jail on warrants and drug charges.
