CLEARFIELD – Charges are currently pending against a male who Clearfield Regional police say stole over $1,500 from a non-profit organization.
According to a department-issued news release, police received a report regarding a theft that occurred at the Clearfield Lowe’s store Jan. 25.
Police say a known male was hired to complete a house foundation project for Habitat for Humanity, and supplied funds to cover costs of all material.
The male allegedly made three, separate unauthorized transactions with the organization’s account for materials not associated with its project.
The transactions totaled $1,538.52, police said.
