DUBOIS – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that B&P Railroad will close Route 4017 (Shaffer Road) near the intersection of Route 255 tomorrow, Feb. 2. This closure will allow B&P Railroad to complete emergency repairs to the railroad crossing near this intersection.
B&P will close the road at 9 a.m. tomorrow. During the closure, PennDOT suggests drivers utilize Beaver Drive and Division Street to avoid the closure. PennDOT anticipates B&P completing the repairs and lifting the detour by evening.
