State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report of terroristic threats Dec. 17 on Shady Lane in Cooper Township. According to a station-issued news release, troopers were responding to a domestic in progress when they observed those involved traveling in a vehicle. Upon a traffic stop and further investigation, it was learned that a 48-year-old Drifting man had allegedly displayed a gun and threatened the victims. Charges were filed through the district court.
- State police reported there was a bag of suspected methamphetamine found Dec. 19 at the Family Dollar store in Decatur Township.
- State police reported a drug violation occurred Dec. 31 along the Allport Cutoff in Morris Township. As a result, a known 20-year-old Clearfield woman was arrested for drug possession.
- State police received a report about a motor vehicle theft Dec. 30 on Walmart Drive in Bradford Township. According to a station-issued news release, someone stole a silver golf cart from the Walmart Distribution Center in Woodland. The suspects were operating a newer red pickup truck that was towing a trailer. The make and model of the truck is unknown, state police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact troopers at 814-857-3800.
Clearfield Regional
- Police reported a warrant apprehension occurred Jan. 4 on Bigler Avenue in Clearfield. According to a department-issued news release, officers located 57-year-old George Graham and learned he was wanted by the department in connection with a trespassing incident. He was subsequently housed in county jail on the warrant.
- Police responded to a minor two-vehicle accident Jan. 4 on Bridge Street in Clearfield. According to a department-issued news release, it occurred near Third Street when a vehicle rear-ended another vehicle stopped for a red light. No injuries occurred and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
- Police reported its response to three incidents Jan. 3-4 at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center in Clearfield. As a result, three juveniles will be charged with use/possession of drug paraphernalia; one will also be charged for disorderly conduct.
