ELIZABETHTOWN — The Curwensville girls wrestling team sent eight competitors to the Elizabethtown Girls BAGUBA Brawl this past weekend, where they place 18th out of 24 teams.
South Western won the team title.

The Lady Tide went 6-16 on the mat, with Tessa Queen claiming the most wins with three. She went 3-2 and placed sixth at 142 pounds.
Emily Neeper went 1-2 at 190 and finished fourth. Savannah Carfley picked up a win at 136, but didn’t place in the tourney.
Next up for the Lady Tide will be a tournament at Bishop McCort High School on December 23.
