PennDOT Closing Clearfield County Bridge for Repairs December 11

Clearfield, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that it will close a bridge spanning Chest Creek along Route 3014 (Five Point Road) in Chest Township, Clearfield County, for repairs on Monday, December 11. Repairing the bridge will improve its overall condition rating from poor to good.

While the bridge is closed, traffic will follow a detour using Route 36, Route 3006 (Bridge Street/Westover Road), and Route 3001 (Ridge Road) back to Five Point Road. PennDOT anticipates the detour will be in effect until mid-January while crews repair the structure’s steel beams.
