CLEARFIELD – The Grampian Lions Club will host a children’s Christmas festival and a Christmas lighting contest during the month of December.
The festival will be held Saturday, Dec. 9, from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., at the Grampian CenClear Center, located at 178 Walltown Rd.
All local children are invited to attend this free event.
Station activities include: Mr. and Mrs. Claus, Frosty, Rudolph’s reindeer treats, crafts, cookies, holiday tattoos, books, Reindeer games and a Ty Beanie pet store. Each attending child will be able to choose a toy from the toy table.
A large holiday bag will be provided for each child to collect their goodies. Please come and join this day of holiday fun.
Then, the club’s annual Christmas lighting contest will be held Tuesday, Dec. 19.
The lighting contest includes the municipalities in its service area of Grampian Borough, Penn Township, Bloom Township and Greenwood Township.
Gift certificates will be awarded to the top three winners in each municipality. The club encourages everyone to light up their homes in the spirit of Christmas. It was noted that the club is always looking for new members to help serve the needs of others.
