- Police on Nov. 2 responded to a domestic assault on Flegal Road in Lawrence Township. According to a department-issued news release, it was reported that a male was hit by a car. At the scene, police learned it happened following a domestic with a female. Afterwards, she fled. The male was transported to Clearfield Penn Highlands for treatment. Charges are pending against both individuals.
- Police on Nov. 1 received a report of indecent exposure at the Royal Inn in Clearfield. According to a department-issued news release, 39-year-old Charles Ray Smith of Missouri exposed his genitals to a pizza delivery driver. Smith was taken into custody and put in county jail on charges of indecent exposure and open lewdness.
- Police on Oct. 4 reported a DUI and drug violation occurred in the area of Washington Avenue and Hall Street in Hyde. During a traffic stop, 29-year-old Colin Cowder of Clearfield was suspected of being under the influence of a controlled substance. When he was placed under arrest, Cowder was allegedly found in possession of crystal methamphetamine. Charges have been filed through the district court.
- Police on Oct. 5 reported a drug-related DUI that occurred in the area of Turnpike Avenue and Martin Street Extension, Clearfield. During a traffic stop, 35-year-old Taylor Wisor of Hyde was observed to have drug paraphernalia in plain view. It was also suspected Wisor was under the influence; he was subsequently placed under arrest and allegedly found in possession of crystal methamphetamine. Charges have been found through the district court.
